Hello Tampa Cohort. I pray you are well and that you are experiencing the full joy of resurrection this Easter season.
Our next gathering will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 21 at Tre Amici (http://www.yborbunker.com/). Joshua Livingston will be our facilitator. (Thanks Josh!)
Josh has been doing some reflection on the book of Hebrews. I encourage you to visit his blog before the gathering. I'm sure his reflections will spawn some great discussion.
Since we're in the midst of the "Great 50 Days" of Easter, I invite you to spend some time reflecting on how you have experienced "resurrection" in your life. Perhaps there will be an opportunity to share those reflections at this gathering.
Also, Earth Day is Sunday, April 22 so if any of you know about Earth Day events, please bring info to the gathering. If you have any thoughts or ideas on how we can actively participate in the stewardship of God's creation, bring them with you.
Please invite anyone you feel might enjoy the conversation. I will not be able to join y'all this time as I will be out of town enjoying some much-needed vacation time.
There seems to have been some confusion as to when our cohort meets, especially since the meeting time has been shifting. You can mark your calendars for the third Saturday of each month at 10:30.

Also, please mark your calendars for Feb 29 and March 1, 2008 for Brian McLaren’s “Deep Shift 2008” gathering (yes, there is an “F” in that word). In addition to the regular attendees, they're looking for musicians, poets, and artists of all types to participate. The event will be at First Baptist Church in St. Pete.
